floral decay





2 years ago I saw these signs of my first-borns first autumn; petals dissolving in a thin, silvery layer of rain on the asphalt; a bee looking for last pieces of summer; a microworld of humidity, insects and changes; last moments before the flowers turn into another kind of beauty.

dinner in the city



Pastel coloured houses and dinner at my sister's place in Oslo.
Don't you just love her plates? They are from our family summer house. They were almost forgotten until one night when she had a dream about them. After that, she inherited the plates, brought them with her from the simple little house in the archipelago to her fancy Oslo city apartment where they fit in just perfect. Now she serves the loveliest veggie lasagna on them.

One thing I love about cities is that you can get really good coffee.
