Top: A book, a nice chair and some loneliness - that is how I celebrated my birthday the other day. It was perfect - coffee and sun and no mess and stains and babies around for an hour or so. Just perfect.
Bottom: My mother makes the most beautiful things for little Hugo. Here he is, kicking and waving on his brown and soft merinowool blanket, wearing the cutest baby jacket with enamel buttons.

Your birthday sounded so lovely, that quietness is so special when you are a mum. I really enjoy the beauty of your photos and I agree with Jill about them being quiet and peaceful.
I love spending quiet moments at home alone sometimes. Sounds like the perfect way to spend a Birthday.
