autumn in the archipelago

I had a lovely, long weekend in the archipelago. These are some of the things I saw. How was your weekend and what did you see?

Didn't do much because I had a cold. Saturday we had dinner over at friends' and enjoyed the company and the (very) good food and wine. Sunday, my husband bought oysters (as we usually do on Sundays), they tasted really good!

i've been grumpy like hell and so has the daughter. but we had guests on saturday, painting the boards just below the roof, "the forehead boards", picking lingonberries in the bigger forest behind our small forest, and daydreaming about seeing a fox taking a nap there

my weekend was intense: parents visiting, J coming home after one week in Italy, bringing cookies and dessert wine from Tuscany (:D), visiting a great museum, taking a wonderful walk around a wonderful island. One of us practised riding a bike. Eating, talking. Sleeping too little.

such beautiful photos...makes me want to go take a long hike in the crisp fall air. i think i'll have to settle for a bike ride in the city today, though.
