autumn gardening

ah - autumn gardening - I love you - the smells, the colours, the plans for next season. I have been digging, collecting seeds, planting garlic, harvesting the last of the carrots, dreaming; artycho,- fennel,- and hokkaido-dreams, poppies ... next year's veggie garden starts to take shape in my head while I dig, preparing the earth for my wild veggie-plans.

I love your pictures! I got some garlic too being French of course! Well I guess I should start my digging too, my garden is in a bit of a mess at the moment! Enjoy the weekend!

I also recognize those garden dreams when the summer is over...making plans is a very enjoyable part of gardening.
